My name is Serena Star, I am a 23 year old Fashion and fine art influenced portrait and wedding photographer from a small town in Southern New Jersey. I'm known for my bold, brightly colored, edgy imagery of intricate design. I specialize in Fashion, Beauty, Pinup, and Boudoir inspired work, but I do everything from Children’s portraits to Weddings. I have been involved in the arts since I was little doing everything from drawing to acting. As I grew up I found my skills all fit together in the photography world, building sets and designing costumes. In 2004 I got my first SLR camera and took off from there, building a network and fan base online. In 2006 I enrolled at Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography, was VP of the Antonelli Chapter of SPS my second year, and graduated Valedictorian with best of portfolio. Since then I have joined PPA and earned a total of 20 merits for volunteer work and print competition, two of my prints going loan. I have had several publications in books, magazines, and a variety of other Showcases and Awards. My goal now is to grow my boutique portrait studio making non-models feel just like the fashion models I’ve photographed.
