‘The Bling Ring’ is based on the real-life group of teenagers based around Calabasas, California, who burglarized the homes of several celebrities including Paris Hilton,Megan Fox, Rachel Bilson, Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and Ashley Tisdale.
Emma plays Nicki, a girl whose ex-Playboy model mother (played by Leslie Mann) schools her two daughters on the importance of being famous.
Sofia Coppola is directing the project, which began filming in March.
