Minka Dumont Kelly (born Minka Dumont Dufay;[1] June 24, 1980) is an American actress. She is perhaps best known for her roles in Charlie's Angels, Friday Night Lights, and The Roommate.
Kelly was born in Los Angeles.[2] She is the only child of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay[3] and Maureen Dumont Kelly, an exotic dancer and single mother. Her paternal grandfather was actor and investment advisor Richard Ney.[4] Kelly and her mother often moved to different communities, before settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico by the time Kelly was in junior high school.[5] She has French and Irish ancestry.[6]
