Rebbeca Marie Gomez (born March 2, 1997), better known by her stage name Becky G, is an American singer, rapper, anddancer from Inglewood, California.
She first began to gain recognition in 2012, after she posted several videos of herself performingremixes of popular songs on YouTube. Gomez later compiled these covers into her first full-length project, a mixtape entitled@itsbeckygomez. She co-wrote the song "Oath" performed by Cher Lloyd and was asked to perform a verse for a remix to "Die Young" by Kesha.
